We booked into the Dellway Hideaway a bit last minute, but the place couldn't have been nicer or our hosts more accommodating. We were a little put off by the peacock at first, but turned out to be a complete non-issue. They have a wonderful backyard filled with great places to relax. Highly recommended.

The Garden Room at Dellway turned out to be so much more than a "garden room"! We had a long and fabulous stay with these amazing hosts - wallowing in the spa, lounging on the verandah, delighting in all the garden hideaways, and eating more enormous free avos and cream scones than we should have. Really comfy in every way, and a delight to visit. Can't recommend highly enough - more of a pamper package than a holiday house, thanks guys :0)

We stayed in the self-contained apartment on the lower level of this lovely property. The hosts were friendly and having wifi was convenient. The central location was great for golfers -- we were within 15 mins. of several area courses. The grounds were lovely and private. Laundry facilities were included. The queen bed was comfy and the shower powerful. The double sink in the bathroom was a nice plus. It was within 10 mins. of the beautiful beach at the Mount, but is also close to the major motorways. I would recommend this place for couples wanting a quiet getaway. There is also a self-contained cottage on the property which appeared to be very clean and accommodating. It is part of a building that also houses the laundry room and a car garage, but would be very private.

During our recent stay in Tauranga we were lucky enough to stay at a wonderful B & B called the Dellway Hideaway. The owners Rolf & Bernadette were very accomodating and helpful during our stay. The house is tucked away down a quiet little lane and has a fabulous garden with wonderful trees, hot tub, stream, gazebo. Totally private. Lots of organic foods grown on the property. You have a choice of either a room downstairs in the house with it's own deck or the delightful self contained cottage which we chose. In fact we liked it so much that after our initial stay of 4 days, we returned later in the trip for another 2 days. The location was great, easy distance to restaurants and about a 10 min drive to the Mount and some lovely beaches. Would definitely stay here again!
